"Probably" is the eleventh episode of the fourth season of the animated television series South Park, and the 58th episode of the series overall. "Probably" originally aired in the United States on July 26, 2000 on Comedy Central. It is the second part of a two part episode, which concludes the storyline from "Do the Handicapped Go to Hell?".

Plot

In this episode, the South Park children build a church to live in sinlessness, and do not go to school, avoid home as much as possible, and listen earnestly to Cartman, who acts like a televangelist preacher. Meanwhile, Kenny calls from Ensenada, Mexico (about 60 miles (95 km) south of Tijuana on the Baja California peninsula) where the bus he was run over by in the previous episode dragged him and which he thinks is Hell, and tells about the "Underworld" for Cartman's sermons: "that everyone in Hell speaks Spanish, that in Hell there is water, but if you drink it you will pee blood out your ass for several hours, and there are dozens and dozens of trinket stores but they all sell the same trinkets."

Meanwhile, in the real Hell, Satan sleeps with Saddam. He then tells Chris about what happened. Chris forgives Satan, which actually upsets Satan more (presumably because he feels Chris is restraining himself to avoid confrontation). Satan screams at Chris saying that he wishes that he would at least be angry at what happened. Then, Chris and Saddam keep getting into fights, which lead to the two murdering each other; nevertheless, they keep reappearing in Hell to kill each other again (since they cannot go to Detroit, as Saddam already pointed out), and Satan wonders if he should be with Saddam, whom he finds sexually attractive, or Chris, who is kinder and nicer. JonBenét Ramsey, who is in hell, then suggests that he ask God for help.

In the meantime, The Hell Director welcomes a group of new arrivals to Hell (which is actually a parody of a Rowan Atkinson skit). Some of them protest that they should not be in Hell because they were true to their faiths (one man in Hell was a devout Protestant and another was a Jehovah's Witness, even though the man who said this was wearing an Army uniform. Military service is strictly forbidden among Jehovah's Witnesses) and did nothing sinful, but the Hell Director reveals that the people allowed in Heaven are Mormons.

Meanwhile, Cartman has risen up his church to almost a cult form, and despite attempts by Sister Anne, Cartman refuses to disband his church, stating that "...The only people they (the kids) can trust are me and Jesus", And he begins to practice exorcism and Pentecostal healing, which he learns from watching a preacher on television while working on one of his sermons. Cartman is actually able to make Timmy walk for a few seconds, after that he falls and breaks the floor.

Satan goes to visit God (with the same strange appearance as seen in Are You There God? It's Me, Jesus) in Heaven which is occupied solely by Mormons, aside from God, who professes to be a Buddhist. God criticizes Satan, saying, "You got kicked out of here for being a headstrong rebel, and now you're a whiny little bitch." However, being sympathetic, God further instructs Satan to dump both lovers and to learn to appreciate himself, stating that it's how good relationships grow. Realizing this, Satan agrees and thanks God for his counsel before returning back to Hell.

Back in South Park, Cartman reveals to Stan and Kyle that he only opened the church to con kids out of money, and not out of religious fervor (according to him, people can easily be forgiven by God). Stan and Kyle are disillusioned by this, but they can't do anything about it as long as other children give their money to Cartman. Sister Anne then manages to disband Cartman's church by asking Jesus to visit. Jesus tells the children that God does not want them to be afraid of Hell or to just worship all day, but to help others and live good happy lives. The children, touched by this, agree with Jesus and decide to leave to do their daily tasks in home and school (much to Stan and Kyle's relief and to Cartman's dismay). Deciding to teach Cartman a lesson for conning kids of their money, Jesus angrily sends Cartman somewhere "worse" than Hell - Mexico - to think about his sins, and Cartman happens to meet Kenny at the bus stop. This is one of the few episodes in the first five seasons of South Park where Kenny does not die.

A similar event happens in Hell. Satan tells Saddam and Chris that he does not want to be with either of them and tells them to go away. Chris agrees and leaves Satan, but Saddam refuses to go, saying that he will not let Satan leave him. Even after Satan explains his intent to be single, Saddam continues to harass him, swearing that no one leaves him. Having enough, the Devil then angrily burns a hole in Saddam's chest, and reveals that he has "asked an old friend for a favor", which to asking God to transport Saddam to Heaven, forcing him to spend eternity with the Mormons. Saddam yells as he is taken on their shoulders, viewing this as Hell to himself.
